I got a 98 300ex with the stock 13 tooth front cog and i ride at a nearby track alot and i dont want to put any mods on in at this time so if i put a 10 tooth would that give me alot more bottm end.ANd i was just wonderin that whut is the strogest way to reinforce my frame cause i bent it right behind the left front a arms pretty bad pused it back bout 1 inch or so and my frame is flexin.

I hit a school bus runnin 50-55 on a curve and their was no way arond it the bus was on the wrong side of the road so i just lock em up and held on for the ride.

I don't think you can go smaller than a 13 tooth. It will kink your chain to badly. If the bus was on the wrong side of the road, don't they have to pay for your repairs??

You shouldn't go any smaller then a 12T front. It will stress your chain too much and might break it. On the school bus thing, if that seriously did happen to you there's no way to bend the frame back and even if you did bend it back I wouldn't trust it. You're better off just buying a new frame.

Wow, that school bus thing had to suck. Did you not get in trouble for being on the road??

i've heard, but never have seen it tried, that if you heat it up with a torch, and bend it back into place, and then make some scabs out of 1/4 inch steel that run well over the bent place and weld them good then it will hold up great.

but being right by the a-arm. you would have to get it really close to factory so it didn't screw up the steering.

like i said above....i've heard it, but never seen it, so be cautious!!

just my .o2
