Clutch lever for 300ex
#1
On the fourth of July I rolled my 300ex(long story) and the clutch lever broke. Last year the bolt that helps tighten up the parking brake broke so I removed it completely so the parking brake set up is still on the clutch lever. I need to know where I can find a new clutch lever that gets rid of the parking brake crap but still keeps the reverse **** for reverse. Can you guys help me out its actually my wifes quad and she cant ride it till I get a new lever!
Thanks

you don't need the reverse lever to use reverse
just buy a whole new clutch lever, take off the reverse cable, and go down on the side of the motor and tie back the lever so reverse can be used. It won't go in reverse when its in gear..so you can't hurt anything, ie accidently kick it in, its impossible

Here's a suggestion. IF and only IF a stock lever is within your budget, buy it. I dont know and havent looked into a aftermarket clutch lever for a 300EX, they have to be out there though. if you get the stock lever and want to get rid of the parking brake stuff, here is what i did, i took off the parking brake cable and linkage and threw it... then took that little piece on the lever that the parking brake worked off of and cut it with a chop saw... works like a charm, beautifully planned idea.... any ?'s ask.
