I know I won't pay for my protective clothing. But maybe I can talk *mommy* into buying me a whole set. I can paint a picture of my injuries...hehe.

Anyways...what clothing do you suggest. I will probably need suggestions on the following: Goggles, gloves, jersey, pants, chest protector, and boots. The brands and types of the clothing and why you suggest them would be appreciated.

And, for the jersey and pants, most brands make 2 types: regular price and more expensive. Are the more expensive ones really worth the $20 more for every product? If so why? I was leaning to O'Neal right now, but am debating the is the Methods (expensive) and Elements (regular price).

help me if you can.

I bought fox racing pants and shirt when I bought my quad (Honda bonus bucks). I got the fox 180 pants for around $99 and the nylon type shirt for around $50. I also picked up a pair of Alpine star riding boots for around $179. The pants and the boots were the best investment yet as they really provide good protection without sacrificing comfort. I already owned a helment, gloves, and goggles. I don't currently wear a chest protector, but may start in the future. Hope this helps.

Alibaba,
I ordered Fox 180 pants, HC Jersey, and Dirtpaw gloves from
www.motoworldracing.com for $99. Great deal, but I don't like the HC
Jersey, it is 100% cotton, so its hard to get the mud out of it, but I love the 180 pants ! I would recommend a Fox 02 Jersey, 100% Polyester, they breath easier, too. I also ordered a pair of O'Neal Elements boots for $85 and Fox socks for $10. Goggles will usually run you between $20 to $40, depending on the style. I really like the new Smith goggles. I also picked up an O'Neal 541 Helmet for around $110, they are very stylish for the money. So I spent roughly $370 for 2 Fox jerseys, pants, gloves, socks, goggles, helmet, and boots. Not too bad in my opinion. I would recommend ordering from motoworldracing or rockymountainatv, I have had great service from both.
