if you like fast little rice burners that sound like pi$$ed of bumble bees, than that's great, but i like my 454 big block v8.

if you read my post correctly, i said mustangs are crap!
its just a name
hond s-2000's are crap,
porches arent fast, so thats nothing to brag about,
all the people with hondas say they will beat a muscle car in a twisty turny, how you gonna do that when im ahead of you 100 yards from the start? and when i can power out of every corner?
i have a 1972 Chevelle Super Sport 454 (ls-6) With caul induction , 4:1:1 gear box, and a posi rear end,
thats a muscle car

I'd like to see you drive that 72 chevelle to work everyday.... It's probably running 11's or sumthing but It's not reasonnable for daily driving.... come on tell us about that sunfire you drive to work every morning..... Makes me think of last year in high school... all the muscle guys talking shyt about how fast their cousins 'cuda is but it seems he was never drivng it..... Dont get me wrong, old muscle cars look good and mean( I like the 70 stang).... If I had extra cash I might even buy one just to take joy rides.... but AS A DAILY DRIVER.... a carburated muscle car.... would you go from Georgia to canada in it(23hour drive nonstop) ????? I can only afford 1 car and it has to: be reasonably fast, look good, reasonnably priced, reasonnable on gas, RELIABLE.

wait, my buddy has one...only his is 16" suspension lift, and a 3" body lift, with hydraulic rear stearing...it sucks gas like nobody's business.
he's tryin to sell it...anyone wanna buy?? he's got trophies and everything from car shows...he'd take 10k if you called him up and offered it to him

sorry for rambling on...i'm sorta bored tonight...no work tomm

<< and by the way, we have had 3 S-2000's and they will out run a porshe any day! it is fun... >>

Yeah, and so won't a ton of other cars, it just depends on which Porsche you are talking about. The old 944's were slower than death...I saw an '89 6 cyl. Cavalier beat one. That's pretty pathetic.

The S2000 isn't a bad car...14.00 seconds in the 1/4 is not too bad either. Just don't expect to keep up with the 911's.

Well bud I hate to break it to U but your 72 chevelle ss 454.Will get smoked by any healthy 350.

The 72 big block chevelle's and el camino's had way to low of compression and smog crap to run.Sure it may feel fast and be great at the stop lights. But Run it in the 1/4 and I bet 15 second e/t's.That is if U can cut a decent light.

Don't get me wrong The chevelle is by far my favorite car of all time. The 70 is the fastest year. And the fact that your car is a 4-speed really makes me drool. But U are going to need to bump up the compression, take the smog crap off and stick a healthy cam in her before she runs like a mean old chevelle!

My freind has a 72 nova.IT has a full roller 350,4 bolt main, steel crank, forged piston, flowed air gap intake,POrted heads,750 holley, headers into flowmasterstraction bars, subframe connectors,10.5 inch slicks.LEt me tell U the car is fast as crap!I wouldn't think that a 350 could make a car launch like that.It has 4.10 gears with a 3500 stall convertor and the launches hard!It can pull the front wheels about 6 inch of the ground.Which is bad for a street car on a high schooler's budget!

Currently me and My dad are restoring a 69 camaro.IT is a plain jane camaro. No ss,rs,z/28 just a regular drum brake 307/powerglide camaro. When I pulled the motor it was running on 3 cylinders!Currently it is on a rotissery waiting on new qauters, trunk pan, inner and outer fender wells, and the rear where the tailights are.The car was rusty as crap. But it sure will be awesome when it gets done.
