I would like to add some undercarriage protection, both under the engine and the A-arms, but I want to stay as light as possible. Can anyone suggest a source? What have you used and how do you like it?

Check out PRM ATV. They have aluminum skid plates and A-arm guards for the Rancher. PRM-ATV

Thanks for the post! Their stuff looks good, and the prices aren't outrageous.

What does everybody think about the stock plate on the differential? How is yours holding up?

My stock skids are holding up fine with the exception of the front bash plate (major crunchage), but I did put the PRM A-Arm guards on and they rule!! Just wish they made an aftermarket bash-plate.
