Just aquired a TRX300 that I plan to fix up a bit for the kids. What type of options can I buy to improve the ride and handleing?

highlifter.com has some shocks for it and i think works makes some for it , that will drastically improve your ride .

i have the exact same bike in blue. its a very durable bike. it does definately ride rough. new suspension would really help but it may cost you. the only other thing is it may be tough for kids to steer this atv. it is kind of hard to steer with it being full time 4wd.

Your going to like your 300 4 by 4. I have a 98 model and its are work machine. We pull a Swisher 50 inch trailmower(bushhog) with it. Will work all day and night if you ask it to. Some aftermarket shocks would help but this machine is intended for pure utility and very little sport. Keep the oil changed, air filter clean and make sure your front cv boots in the front have no holes or rips in them. Sometimes I think the 300 motor makes its own gas somehow. Its very fuel efficient. My only gripe would be how you have to get to the storage box under the rear rack. You have to unload everything if you want in the storage area. Chet
