ride gear

Helmet, cheap gloves(they seem to provide support for comfort), goggles as long as conditions aren't going to fog them up.( grass seed, and bugs are reason enough even if alone. ) Long sleeves only if I'm blazing a briar patch. Boots are a good idea if your gonna be in mud, OR without full floorboards.

Well, call me a d@rk, but I wear it all when I ride. Boots, Answer pants, jersey (whatever one for the weather), helmet, goggles, gloves, kidney belt (keeps me going longer!) and my chest protector (to protect my "enhancements" and keep my husband's Raptor roost off me!). We do some really fast riding in some really nasty terrain, and I don't want to meet a boulder, or cactus, or the ground wearing any less!
For the track I add my upper arm guards!

i were goggles ,(sometimes) shoes , shortsleave shirt, shorts (with the burns on my leg to prove it) and gloves. If i am planning on a L-O-N-G day of riding i kindey belt cause it's comfortable. and of course my beat-up peeling primer thor helmet , it's a bute
I hit plenty of jumps but i dont think the gear is worth it unless you race or you ride with someone that roosts in your face alot [jake]
