Then why are you putting on 400EX A arms, and modding your little 300 to keep up with one?

Here is the deal for most of us at least it is...you work your *** off to buy the quad you like or the one you like the most for your budget at the time you bought it,then people start to make fun of your ride for whatever reasons, you get pissed and it is quite normal you have learned to love your quad and the fun it brings you when you ride it.No big deal whatever quad you buy there will always be someone outhere to make fun of it no matter what brand or CCs it is,i have never been a brand lover i am a quad lover i currently own a Banshee that i am modding to get it right where i want it to be engine wise and suspension wise, i should finally be done during next winter.Before that i owned an Lt250r wich i thought was a blast to ride and still do,after i am done with the Shee i am planning on buying a worn out Trx250r and rebuild it from the ground up, i know it will be costly ... i am in no hurry.I will build it for MX so i will have the best of both worlds but i know that everytime i will hit the dunes with whatever bike i am riding on this particular day there will be someone to talk crap about my quad,Banshee owners will laugh at the slow *** 250R and will want to drag race me,on the other hand Honda owners will ask me to get on the track so they can kick my butt... There has always been quad bashing and there always will be, you have to learn to live with it,if your having fun why would you care about others liking your quad or not.

like i care if i can beat a 400ex in a drag race, People make the 400ex to be the god of all quads when its nothing great.

I modded my quad because i wanted more power without falling into the band wagon 400ex/raptor crowd.

So what? my 330 will beat a 400ex modded 400ex in a drag. I don't see that happening a lot on the trails. On the trails a stock 300ex will more than keep up with a stock 400ex with good riders!

 

i just raced (first race) at lake county fair in indiana, on a real tight course. i didnt qualify for the main, but i was there too watch it and on the last lap a raptor with +3 a-arms, +2 axle, and a pipe and silencer was running with a modded 300ex and last corner the 300ex took the inside and bumped the 660r over the berm and the 300ex took the win. i think 300ex's are nice quads and they work great for tight courses, woods riding, and trail riding. but in a drag race or a open course a 250r or 400ex would be better. my dad owns a 300ex and my friend owns several 400ex's and i think the 300ex has a smoother suspension, but the 400 has more suspension.

I was only looking for you to add the Raptor in there, I mean you named all the main big dogs except for the Raptor. I guesss I took special offense to it for obvious reasons :-).

if u need reverse buy an old man's bike like a 3002wd.the 400ex looks better, runs harder,and is worth more 4 your money.

 

just for your information... i saw a 300EX beat a blasters *** yesterday at the races! you may think this is nothing but the blaster was bobby ross the number one rider in the NATION on a blaster! the 300 beat him out of the hole all the was up to the last lap then the coil wire came off the 300! it was sweet! the number one blaster in the NATION!! was bewing beat by a local boy on a 300 w/ stock suspension and minimal motor mods! just like piston cam and valve spings! i really wished the wire didnt come of i wanted to see him beat bobby ross! oh yeah! if you think thats nothing the blaster wasnt very far behind nathan dallas, matt white, and angela moore in the extra quad class!
