If I was exclusively a trail rider, the 300 would be my weapon of choice. It is just enough smaller than the other sport/performance bikes to give it an edge in cornering. The power is spot-on for trail riding! Just enough, but not so much that you're constantly fighting to keep the front end on the ground. If I'm going on a trail ride and my daughter isn't going along, I'll use her 300 and leave my 400 at home!!
