From what I have always heard, you should run the mixture that is recommended on the oil that you buy.
Personally I run the 100:1 AMS oil at about 85:1. Between myself, and two of my friends, we have owned 6 Banshee's and have always run this mixture. Not a single engine problem to speak of, and NONE out of the 6 had ever been rebuilt.
That is just my experience.
