Well our final trip of the year is coming up this Friday. Packing up the trailer, kids, deck, quads, Oh Yeah can't forget hubby & Off we go. There is about 5 or 6 different RVs heading down this time, adding up to approx. 30 people, kids included. Just to give you an idea of the array of units that will be there......3 250Rs, 3 Banshees, 4 Dirtbikes,
4 Lt80s, 1 Honda 90, 1 Blaster, 1 Raptor, possibly a couple of 4x4s and a Polaris 6x6. I can't wait, this will be my Rs maiden voyage to the dunes. With our unit which includes a 28.5ft travel trailer, Quad deck on our 1ton chevy with a Cummins Turbo engine (Hubby's baby), two Rs and an Lt80 on the deck, we are 52ft long and it takes between 7 & 9 hrs to make the trip. Who else from this forum rides in Florence? and Where do you travel from?, How long does it take?

 

i go down to the dunes in oregon from auburn washington, it takes about 6 hours!!
