i have a used '85 honda 4x4 and i have no idea where to find performance parts for it. the suspension is way too stiff with almost zero suspension travel. the tires come off the ground and it gets all out of shape when i run over any rough terrain. it has oversized buckshot tires so it may have been upgraded by the previous owner. i just want something to make it a little wider (because it feels so top-heavy) and i want something to smooth out the suspension. i would like to keep the buckshots because they work so well in mud. i know it will never be a sport quad, i just want it to be able to handle a little recreational riding every now and then.

 

WOW it's used ????who woulda thought?? JK ! I had one And I know what ya mean about the stiff suspension ! YOu ca go to highlifter.com , I think they make shocks for it. Alo if you want wider, while your at highlifter.com get a set of aluninum wheelspacers. You might even be able to find a pipe for it on there.

PS you can't stop the wheels from coming up since it has a swing arm in the front and rear.
