Chains or Studs for winter???
#13
yea they are some of both plowed and not plowed, but i have heard some bad things about chains. like they come off and can snap a axle and mess the quad up bad, and you cant go fast with them or they will come off. i mean i am going to be riding pretty fast so which do you think will be better now? would studs get through a lot of snow or will they be like having regular tires on? which do you think is the overall best for roads and trails with deep snow, and the safest for myself and the quad? thank you please reply

Mudman- In your case, you will need studs, for going fast.
atc86r- The only thing studs leave is little holes where they screwed into the tire, thats about it, sometimes they might pry out from driving on pavement, but it wont be bad.
