Watch out 400EX owners..the new Suzuki Z400 Quadsport is here

Spoken like a true idiot, yags... Suzuki will force Honda to raise the bar in the 400-class... this is a GOOD THING. The DRZ-400 kicks the butt of the XR400 in chassis and engine, so, we should expect the same with the Z400 and 400EX. Personally I'm a Honda fan, but this is a good thing for the sport. Liquid cooled and better ergonomics than the 400EX, rock on Suzuki!!!

Too bad they detuned the engine and put a Mikuni BSR constant velocity carb on it... Could have been a killer bike, now it will need $1000 in engine upgrades to be truly powerful - just like a 400EX...
My guess is it will only be slightly more powerful than a stock 400EX, with a 400EX's power having a better feel (due to it having a real carb).
As long as Suzuki doesn't screw up the chassis like they have a long history of doing, it will likely come down to personal preference and whether or not reverse is important to you.
It's good to have another choice out there, it's also good to see a sport quad come out of a new product announcement. The utility market HAS to be flooded by now, doesn't it???
