Well people say the wolverine can, and it's full time 4x4, and the rancher and wolverine are alot alike so I was just wandering. I don't want the 400 ex because of mudding.

justin, I own a 2X4 rancher and can do those things, but the 4x4 version on the other hand will not ACT the same, being FULL TIME 4x4, thats was the main reason I bought the 2x4 (not being selectable)and truly am not dissapointed. I personnally try getting stuck and have but most of the time the Rancher comes out of it, much to my surprise (9.7/7.75) ground clearance helps. The new 2002 Foremans have the selectable feature now...wake up Honda. P.S. I would have bought the selectable Rancher if honda considered offerring it, it's truly a nice machine. (brakes and suspension on the other hand....???? it all works fine but not state of the art.)
