When we do the kind of riding that requires a utility, I always ride the 4X4 and somebody else rides the 2X4. So, I havn't had time to do much "play riding" on the 2X4. This weekend we took the kids out for some play time, so I rode the 2X4, and discovered that THIS THING CAN JUMP! I was able to get some amazing air out of this thing! I would rate it up there with the 300EX. What really helps is the fast rebound on the front suspension. You can compress it, and kind of pogo the front end up off the takeoff ramp. The suspension is limited, but the balooney back tires really help cushion the landings. The bike flies and lands level (although I would prefer to do this a little nose high), and there were no scarry surprises. Not bad for a 500 lb. bike.
