Jeff, the Recon measures 8.25 inches from under frame tube to the ground at the foot peg. Not bad for what some claim to be a small quad. I am 6'2" and am comfortable when I ride this "little" quad.
Off the original topic a bit but I would like to add that dollar for dollar, pound for pound this is the most capable quad on the market, able to go 90% of the places larger 4wd units go and some places they can't because of agility and power to weight ratio.
