yeah what's the best pipe you recommend if I care about my low end ?????? My friend has the yosh system and he lost a lot of low end........

I cant change the gearing cuz I alway go on long rides with my friends and back roads to get to our favorite spots and I would not be able to keep up with them...

I have heard for more low end you just get a slip-on. But it is not like you loose a lot of bottom end with motor mods. Before my 426, I ran a 10:5:1 stock bore, web cam and no porting, and Big Gun. The thing would rip. Nice power every where. The only reason I changed is because I needed more power for the dunes. If you get the right cam it should it would accent the pipe. Now I would bet if you went with a 10:5:1 compression you wouldn't lose too much bottom end.

Here is the kit you should buy:

10:5:1- 440
XR Cam
K&N Filter
slip- on pipe, perhaps a White bros.

Yes, higher compression changes the powerband. I have 11:1, lots of midrange and top end. My old 10:5:1 piston lots of low end and great mid, best power coming from midrange.

rocky mountain only stocks the kit with 11:1 CR. They purchase directly off IMS. I have an extra 440 jug if you want it. Its brand new. You would just need the piston and ring set, and the 2 gaskets.

They should give you some compression choices when buying the kit. It will either be 11/1, 10/1, 13/1, or 10:5:1. Get either the 10:5:1, but if they don't have that get the 10/1. I run 93 octane with 11/1, you should have no problems running pump gas. 10:1, and 10:5:1 will keep your bottom end the way you like.

Is there another way to lower compression other than the piston ??????? Maybe this is gonna sound stupid but can i do something like use 2 head gaskets instead of 1 ????????? or a thicker one ?????

That way if I wanna run higher compression later on I could just change gasket and dont have to get a new piston....

Like i said, Rocky mountain ONLY sells the kit with the 11:1 piston. You can get the head worked on to change compression, or mess with head gaskets/head shaving. That gets complicated because then you have to do calculations to figure how much thicker of headgasket you need etc.
