Sold my 400ex this morning, already missing it.

I do however still have my big 4x4, and hopefully this spring I will buy a nice xr400 or some other dirtbike.

Man im gonna miss that thing.

 

Why don't you get the new CR450??? sounds like a sweet bike

If your thinking some other dirtbike. Get you a KDX200 or KDX220. Plain old two stroke Fun at a reasonable price.

I did have a kdx200 about a year and a half ago. That thing was great. I bought one of the first ones my dealer had (it was a 2001, bought it in the summer of 2000) and put about 100 miles on it and wrecked and broke my shoulder. Im looking for a more mellow dirtbike, but that thing was fun while it lasted.

 

Here in CA, you can't even get the kdx green stickered(or any other 2-stroke for that matter) unless it is a 1996(?) or earlier model.

Do they sell KDX's in CA?
I am on my second KDX. I tried the 220 version first and after I wore that one out I traded it in on a KDX 200. The 200 has a better power range for me.

two strokes are not banned in ca so you can still buy any 2-stroke dirtbike or four wheeler, you just can't ride some of them during certain times of the year or in certain places. The raptor cannot be green stickered. the ktm 400 cannot be green stickered. ALL two strokes have to be red stickered and even alot of four stroke have to be red stickered.
