Thanks Warpig, I will probably get some new reeds and try that. The reeds in there now are pretty stiff, but they are metal so I thought maybe they are suposed to be. If new reeds dont help then I will probably just not ride untill I have enough money to buy a good carb and rebiuld my top end, and maybe get a few other goodies why im at it.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Unless the reeds are cracked or there is a gap between them and the cage you don't need new ones. If you want to upgrade to new ones anyway I would suggest the Boyesen dual stage reeds for a low budget replacment.
It sounds like you need to check your carb. Disassemble it and clean everything. Make a note of the pilot, main, and needle position. Slap it together and try again. You might just need to clean or rejet it.
