Hoppes Semichrome, it looks like pink toothpaste and works really nice. You will need to use some strength though to get the mirror finish.

Any good motorcycle shop should have Luster Pad. It's also called Luster Lace. Look in a Dennis Kirk catalog. I know it's in there. I use it on the aluminum wheels on my Shadow. Try not to get it on an unfinished surface. The trick is to let it dry thoroughly then polish with clean dry cloth. Believe me, this stuff works!!!!!

Don't the stock OEM rims have a clearcoat type of coating on them. Wouldn't you need to get that off before any of the aluminum polishes do any good?

Well, hell. About all you can do is wash 'em. Didn't say they were coated.

If your wheels don't have some kind of clearcoat on 'em,use the Luster Pad. I've been cleaning cars and motorcycles for the better part of 30 years. Luster Pad will work on machined aluminum. Does a hellofa job on chrome too.
