Rubicon owners:

15 miles after purchasing my new Rubicon I was a quart low on oil. I topped it off thinking that it was low from the dealer. Oil level was ok up to 110 miles, I changed the oil for the first time.

It took a little over 5 quarts to fill, as the manual says it should. 35 miles later, I'm a quart low again.

I am running the motor for 5-10 min and then checking the oil (as the manual instructs).

It does not appear to be burning it or leaking it that I can see unless it is dumping some as I ride. I see none on the garage floor.

It's going back to the dealer in the morning. I was wondering if is anyone out there who has seen this too?

Thanks in advance

Have you checked your airbox for oil?

Are you screwing in the dipstick when you check it?

The airbox is clean and I do not screw in the dipstick.

let the engine sit for about 5 min after shutdown as the oil takes a few to sink into the tank or it will read low
