I can get mine to ride a wheelie in 3rd gear. It tops out about 55. I doubt it would beat the older 250 because they are chain drive and geared lower. You might be able to top out higher tho. Its not very powerful, I added a pipe and it made it alot more torque and is peppy. The 300 would be better since I see that is what you want. They top out about the same but gets there s lot faster since they are geared lower and have more torque. They are also chain drive so you can gear it how you want it. Plus a clutch is more fun to drive to. The suspension will bottom out if you are coming down from 10 feet in the air of course, so will the 300. Thats pretty high up. I can make 30 or 40 foot jumps fine and I am up in the air pretty good but not 10 feet. They are a great trail machine and handle easy.

Well, i can bring mine up in 2nd and sometimes 3rd, i weigh 205 and i love playing on my 250, it aint like my 400, but of course it aint gonna be. yeah you can get a pretty good bit of air on the 250's, i dunno bout 10 ft, but ive hit some pretty good size jumps on mine that people never thought i would hit with it.

wheelies are too easy with this quad and i way 115 and am 4'10" so im like half the size of you so im pretty sure ou will have no problem with the wheelies in 2nd or 3rd!

I have a friend that has a bunch of quads including a 250X, 300ex, lt250R, and Fourtrax 300 4X4 and he loves riding mine becuase he calls it a wheelie machine. He can ride a wheelie on this thing forever as long as there is room. He weighs A LOT more than I do and I wouldnt be surprised if he could bring it up in 4th, but I doubt it. But like I said 3rd is no problem with a pipe added to it.
