I just got in from installing a switch in the headlight pod of my Rubicon which allows me to turn it off when the other headlights are on, it will make carrying things on the front rack a lot easier at night plus be a little easier on my bud's eyes when running with me on a night mission!

I'd like to install a switch for that also but I'm curious does that switch also shut off the light of the display or is that separate from the wiring to the headlight? thanks.

The wiring for the upper headlight is separate from the display. It is a very simple job to put on a cut off switch. There are only 2 wires going to the headlight bulb. Just cut the power wire, run 1 end to the switch (where ever you mount it) and run the other wire back from the switch to the cut wire.
