Graydon Proline nerfs - TRX250R?

OK, my Graydon Proline nerf bars arrived today, and I have them. How hard are these to install, and is it something that could definately be done by the rider? I took a look at it, and it looks like you have to drill through a couple things, and where does the back part actually connect? Is it under the peg, behind, in front of, or does it replace the peg or what? It didn't look like there was a place to bolt it on. My local dealer didn't seem too enthusiastic about putting them on, so I'd rather do it myself if at all possible, not to mention saving the $100+ it would cost me to get them installed. Anyone have experience with these nerfs?
Also, how far are the nerf bars supposed to stick out? As far as the rear wheels? I have all the tools, and I know installing nerfs can be difficult, but have any of you actually put GRAYDON PROLINE nerf bars?
Thanks, any response is greatly appreciated.
