I made the plunge, purchased 2 new quads. Well sort of. The dealer was sold out of Ranchers 4x4's both the S & ES. It would take a week to get. These are selling like hot cakes, he sold the 3 on the floor plus 2 others in the warehouse in a 10 day time frame. BUMMER. However, we picked up a Recon for my wife. WE rode for about 3 hours trading off, WOW, that is a fun little bike. I can't wait until my Rancher comes in.

The Recon is great. It is low on power at first but then it pours on great. It is absolutely nible too. Because of the short wheelbase, you can turn on a dime. My wife will be getting a recon very soon. It is quite a deal for the money too.. But, I do love my rancher.

You'll be jammin on that Rancher once you get it as well. In trying to describe the ride I'd say that the best way to characterize it is to think of it as a Recon on Steroids.

Good Luck, I miss my Recon, but my Rancher consoles me well.
