i want a pipe that will increase power but will be NO LOUDER then stock. i have heard the Cobra utility and its quiet but i cant find one for the rancher. what another pipe that is quiet but will give me more power? if i just get a silencer, will it increase power? im planning to get a K&N power kit also.

 

The only pipes available for the Rancher are the SuperTrapp IDS2, FMF MegaMax IV, and Big Gun utility. All are louder than stock. I have always heard that cobra pipes are junk and WAY loud. If you get aftermarket you will get louder.....mostly deeper with the ute series pipes.

I'm going to get the HP kit from highlifer with the BigGun. I have read that it is the better of the three, followed by the Supertrapp and finally the FMF.
