Rincon 650 - How much & When ?
#2
Was just at a dealer's open house in my area (northeast Ohio). This is large dealership that sells a lot of quads. Sales there said they haven't gotten a firm price yet, but their educated guess is going to be a $7200 list and no dealers are going to move off list. The dealership is also being told that their first 4 Rincons should arrive in late July. They are supposed to get 20 between July and the end of the year. Have 2 guys on a waiting list with money down at this point. They are obviously not worried about them sitting on the showroom floor too long!

I haven't stopped by my dealer anytime recently, I was contemplating it. Last info I have was he'd have placed his order by now, he had an 'allotment' of seven rincons which he was going to get-two are sold on arrival. No price or delivery date yet, but Ptgb's info sounds good.

I really do wish that the rincon will be awesome, but I just don't see it. I'm a big fan of honda. But the rincon is missing the features that my Prairie 650 has. I still can't get over the drum brakes and no diff lock. And I'm a bit worried about the 3 speed trans while running big mud tires. Plus the Prairie and even the grizz are going for much less $$$. I'm very happy with my Prairie 650, but I would upgrade to the rincon if it would be better than my prairie. But I just don't see how it is better overall.

HI everyone, new to the forum. We also have a deposit on 2 Rincons and are 1st in line at our dealership. We were going to purchase 2 Rubicons and 2 Ranchers but decided to wait for the 2003 Rincons. Our dealers best guess on the price is 7,499 but we will wait and see. He also stated that the 2003 Rancher and Rubicons may have traxlock system that the Foreman has also the reason we are waiting.

I talked to my Honda service Rep last wk and told him I felt that Honda was REALLY missing out by NOT making a locker mode and disk brakes on the new Rincon. He seemed to think that NEITHER was needed.I told him that he has never really rode in SERIOUS mud if thats how he felt.I also beleive that Honda Rincon sales will decline to the new Grizz and new 650 Kawi, both ATVs have the above features and weigh about 600lbs.
