QUAD-TECH HOOD INSTALLED FINALLY!
#5
Well, it did not come with any type of instructions. All i could do was look at magazine pictures etc.I cut off the headlight and then took it from there. There's not too many racers around here to get help from, much less a local shop.I got some tips from the forum's etc. but everyone said to cut the nose in 1/2 ? I was'nt going to cut more than i needed so i did'nt.I will post some new pic's tonight.click here for pic

I first took out the head lights etc. Then with my trusty jig saw i trimmed out the head light mounting area. Don't cut out much, lay the hood in place and gauge how much needs to be removed.I was confused at first because the hood didn't come to the end of the stock nose area, but after veiwing web sites and magazines i trimmed the nose off the stock front to match the new hood(i did this after bolting the hood in place)then i re-cut the fenders to blend with the new nose. When you first start out,it may seem that the hood is the wrong size or shape, but if you go slow, measure twice cut once, you should'nt have much problems. A few post before i listed a pic,try there to see how it looks!
