Have touched a new (the) Rincon. Looks great, no front headlight on handle bar, no trunk, seat looks shorter than the others. Honda called me and asked me to participate in survey on internet, they wanted to know if I thought the headlight on the handle bars was important and how much extra I would pay for one. If you ride at night the handlebar mounted headlight is a must, especially on switchbacks.

Spectra - how did you actually get to see one? Did you get to (at least) sit on it? Is there a low range for the 3-speed transmission? Did Honda tell you anything more about the 4WD system?

I agree about the headlight - perferably able to control handle bar headlight independently of the others.

Thanks for the info.

I saw it at the motorcycle show here in Minneapolis a few months ago. Looks great. It was on a spinning table and you couldnt get to it. Took a bunch of pics of it though. One thing i noticed was the 2w or 4w switch on the right handle bar. WOOOOO!
The missing light pod was a bummer, will have to see what the two lights will be like i guess.
Dealer yesterday told me that in a few weeks they were going to take orders and he was thinking about september release date.
I added the pics I took to my pics link. Took a movie too, but I just had gotten the Digital camera and it was defaulted to low resolution. Ack, terrible.
