my girlfriend just bought a recon and it is a great bike. it is also by far the best bike for your buck, i have a 400ex and ride hers sometimes with no disapointments. you can just about anything on it (within reason). just my two cents.

I have a Kawasaki Lakoda, and the wife a recon. The recon was my first quad. FANTASTIC quad. Sporty, agile, fast(for a 250) and easy to ride. A perfect chick quad!!! Jeff

In the small ATV category you have the Recon, Bayou 220, Suzuki Lt-160, Yamaha Bear tracker. My wife is 5'4" she sat on all off them. The Yamaha's seat was taller, so its was out. We test drove the Honda & Kawi, bought the Honda. The Kawi felt like a kids ATV. The most important thing is two fold have her test drive as many as possible & secondly make SURE you register it in YOUR name. Just in case things don't work out down the rode.

 

Hey now! I guarantee that there are things that your girlfriend can do for you that a quad can't! Althought I must admit, there are some days I would gladly give away my hubby and just keep my machines!
