I was just wondering if any of you guys have heard of a 2001 Recon SP.There is some guy on Epinions.com talking about it.He says that the engine is mounted different and that it makes the Recon 300cc.I have never heard of this and doubt it is true.You can look at, just go to epinions.com and look at the reviews for Recons.Its called 2001 Recon Lx SP.

I read that guys article and review and would have to say that he thinks he's right and really not trying to fool anyone. It seems the problem is that he thinks there was another variant of the Recon other than his. ALL Recons have the sideways engine, but none have an extra 50cc of "boost"[his words] that he says his has.

In some countries the Recon is called a FourTrax. But is no different from our model except for the decals on the tank.

The SP and LX are grabbed from thin air.
