When you raise the shifter and keep it up are the gears supposed to disingage? When I hold my shifter all the way up I can still give it throtle and move. The foreman is awesome!!!

In theory, any time your foot is touching the shifter, the clutch is supposed to be disengaged. That is why we train new riders to release throttle, operate shifter, release shifter, apply throttle, in that order. Bottom line is that you probably aren't doing your S any favors by using throttle while moving shifter. With that kind of abuse, it might only last until your kids are too old to ride. The S is awesome, howzabout a report on 2wd performance on the 450S? I'm thinking of putting Warn's 2-4wd shiftable front driveshaft on my "98 450S. If I do, will it beat 250Rs in the woods and leap tall buildings in a single bound? I'm dying to know...
