I decided to recharge and change oil in my rear shock on my 87 250r. The problem I'm having is removing the seal head. I have pushed it down and removed the circlip, but it won't come out now. From what I have read the shaft assembly should come out pretty easy. They say by moving it back and forth or by lightly tapping it out. Well I have been cranking on it and hammering it hard and it will not get past the point where the circlip was. It moves in just fine. I have to be missing something. Can anyone help me out here. Thanks.

I don't know what you'd be missing on your shock, but i'd recomend a works Quadstar w/ a rezzy.

Well I finally got it out. Just took a lot of hammering. Of course I had to run into anther problem though. When putting it back together I wrecked the o ring on the seal head. Now I have to go find one of those. What a pain.
