It might not be on top anymore but its still a descent machine, a machine that i happen to own and enjoy riding it, so give it a rest.

 

Ya leave the 400EX alone its a great atv along with everyother atv. So thrust yes us ex riders are getting pissy because we dont need people in hear downing a quad. I've done that when I was new and trust me it gets no where so try and stop making these posts. Till then peace and go riding.

stebob...i know where you are coming from, but ive never downed anybodys quad, never told anybody that their quad sucks, etc. i was the one that had to work to buy my quad. i understand what its like to have a crappy quad.

 

Jeez boys, take a chill pill. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems the aim of the original post in this thread was actually poking fun at all the folks comparing other quads to the 400EX. I saw no serious bad reference to the 400EX. It seems to me that all the comparisions actually reflect the fact that the 400EX is {or was} the benchmark of performance quads. Like it matters what anyone thinks about your quad anyhow. Competition makes the quad world go 'round. Sit back and enjoy it.

We were just comparing it to a battery powered 4 yr old vehicle.

LOL!!!! You supposedly "ride" a banshee and your calling ex's Outdated?? You dads, er, I mean your quad's been around longer than you, chump.

 

Er um where did I say I rode a Shee? There is a big differince(sp?) between the EX and the banshee........ONES FAST ONES NOT. The banshee can STILL COMPETE with the newer quads. The 400EX can maybe on an mx track......but thats it.

the only place the 400 cant hang w/ the bigger boys is on the dune high speed trail rides.

id love to see you take a banshee to some trails out here...thats just not gonna happen.

at least our ex's CAN ride the dunes, you can take the ex up just about any hill you will get the banshee up, the ONLY place the banshee is better than the 400 is in high speed, which is not very safe because of the sh!tty front suspension.
