Hey Loudpipes! I have a Lonestar/CRF450r quad, everything Lonestar builds is on it. You can buy the motor from your Honda dealer for around 3500-4000 depending on how well you know your dealer. Then you still need carb, cdi, modified kick-start, exhaust and many other little mods you thought you knew about.{much more $$} The CRF450r is a holeshot mother in motocross and will start easily when hot. The Yam. 426 I had was a pain to start when hot.

Thats a bunch of BS above....I got a 2002 CRF450 and I will smoke a 426 ANYDAY....I do all the time. Dude...don't listen to him...read the shootouts! The Honda is lighter...has MORE power...starts EASIER (has a decompression-like lever for easier starting). Sell that kids toy 426!

careful CRF 450 guys Yamaha just release YZ450 this year and it has alot more power than the old 426! I really hope that Yamaha will come out with that 450 engine into quad and also with that YZ250 fourstroke engine into quad too! That 250 makes 41 hp at crank and 13,000rpm redline!!
