I HAVE A 440EX AND WE JUST GOT NEW PLASTICS FOR IT; THEY'RE THE NEW SELF HEALING PLASTICS AND I JUST GOT TO TRY THEM FOR THE FIRST TIME AND IT COMPLETELY REMOVED IT. SO IF YOU WERE THINKING ABOUT GETTING THEM THEY'RE SO WORTH IT, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE BLACK PLASTICS.

IF YOU GET A SCRATCH YOU PUT A HEAT GUN JUST ABOVE THE SCRATCH AND THE SCRATCH DISAPPEARS

NO PROBLEM. JUST THOUGHT I'D SHARE THE INFO SINCE I THINK THEY'RE SO GOOD! ACTUALLY IF THE SCRATCH ISN'T TOO BAD YOUR EXPOSE TO PUT IT UNDER THE PLASTICS, BUT MINE WAS A BIG GAUGE SO WE DID IT ON TOP.

Fullbore is mega expensive. The owner is a great guy but he is definatly proud of his product. Does the plastic keep a glossy finish even after doing the repair to it?

Prang11, on my bike the gloss is gone but it's better than a big gauge. Also the reason the gloss on my bike is gone is because we put the heat gun above the plastics when your expose to put it below the plastics. You can get back the glossy look by simply buffing it.
