I think Lake Hill Honda in Northern Missippi has 400EX's for 4699.00 or 4799.00 and JT Powersports has them for 4999.00 . And I only paid 5099.00 for my Z400. I would shoot for 3500.00 to 3800.00 for a used 400EX. I'm thinking about buying a used one myself for my son to ride.

<< I have bent several pairs of renthals and tags with no other damage. >>

That cant be true! That is, unless you have an aftermarket steering stem cuz those Renthals and Tag handelbars are pretty strong, and if you flip it with a stock steering stem, your bars wont bend, your steering stem will first! So if you HAVE bent Renthals and Tags, you better be looking to invest in a new steering stem cuz yours is prolly bent! A buddy of mine has a 400ex and he has a set of Renthals on a stock steering stem and he flipped it back and he bent his steering stem and his bars was left unharmed! So he ended up buying a new LSR Steering Stem which costs way more than a set of handelbars. I would rather bend a set of bars than a stem....

Yes, I do have a Lonestar stem. I also had tweaked the bars before I got the LSR stem. I flipped it over backwards going up a hill and it bent them down in the clamps.
