If you get a jeep you better get yourself a locker.......you can bearly run over a turd without getting stuck without a locker. If I were you I'd go with the jeep and forget the wheeler. You can pay alot less and get yourself a jeep, and you can run that on the road and not trailer it around. If you get that old CJ take your extra money and buy yourself a nice winch and a locker...two things you'll NEED if your going jeepin....
PS Ugly does that CJ have a tiny motor or what ?

It has the 258 straight six in it.With a 3 speed tranny.
If I had a choice I would rather hae the 4-wheeler.To me there is no better feeling.(that I have found anyway)Than roosting a ginat berm hitting a monster double landing it perfect, sliding the next corner coming out of the corner and pulling up a wheelie and riding it as long as I want to.
The Jeep is very fun.But I just ave to go fast.I have went on trail rides with my sonoma and had alot of fun.But I also raced mx and that is the most fun I have ever had.
I would say if U got alot of room to 4-wheel the jeep and it really is in that good of shape go for it.They are fun and U can completly rebuild them without even thinking twice.
I hope I helped
