I just switched from Golden Spec to Castor #927. Was it a mistake? Which is better? Can someone send info on it to read?

i dont know much about the golden spec, but, i know the castor 927 lubricates extremely well, i have a few friends and thier father used to race and he will not let his sons use ANYTHING but castor, and these are no little kids there both grown (20, and 23)
but thier father has raced since he was in his teens and is now in his late 40's and works at a dealership as a mechanic and he has never told me anything that i havent found to be true, but hey thats just my 2 cents.
ask knowsalot he always seems to be right lol

Does that bike really ask for a straight 40 weight? Looking at those specs it wouldn't be my choice.

synthetic is proven to be a better lubricant than any castor oil. Castor oil also burns dirty. It is part of the reason that tree huggers are out to get out 2 stokes. stick with synthetic its better and cleaner

I agree.
I was told this is synthetic ??? It says on the back bottle, "synthetic esters" isn't that synthetic??

I believe esters are part of the additive package and no the base stock.
