For Bill-I am one who told you I have a 300 that is a 97 and has had brakes repaired two times by the dealer, not by myself. I have not had these problems. Mine is ridden every day for 30-45 minutes and ridden in the mud a lot. I don't know why I have not had these problems, either. Really, I don't use my brakes a lot. I usually am not going fast and needing to make any emergency stops. I find that I mostly just downshift and slow down and let off the gas.
