Well I can tell you guys right now if this quad comes out I would sell my Z and buy one. I was ready to buy a 400ex but just couldn't bring myself to buy one knowing it will be replaced in a couple of years.

Yes I am very happy with my Z but I love Honda's and I love the CRF motor. I was also thinking about sticking to dirtbikes just to buy the CRF 450. We all will find out when the time comes.

Badelk - I replied to your post in the Sport quad forum.

RINCON - Not trying to be an *** hole but if you haven't ever ridden a Cannondale, there's no way you can say it should perform better than it does for how much it costs. With a simple slip on silencer and remapping, I could out run 440ex's in a drag race, and then I would still be under the price that most would pay and I would still have a stock (reliable) motor. I could send my motor to Trinity for a 450 kit, pipe, remapping, and some head work and if I remember correctly, Harry from Trinity said something about getting well over 60 HP out of that kit. The Cannondlae's are WELL worth the money. If the ones you saw didn't finish, that was a weird coincidence. I haven't seen a Cannondale NOT finish a race yet... except for me, but that wasn't the quads fault .

Yodaddy>> you are totaly misunderstanding me, here i'll put it simple, the cannondale should preform better than the 400EX, because it costs more than a EX. i'm not saying it should preform better than it already does, just that it should out preform the EX because like i said it costs more than the EX

i read your post on the other forum, and i agree 100%, this is what i'm saying, the 400EX has all the power needed for the track and trail, for about 95% of it's riders. on the MX track handling is more of an asset than power

since when does power meen speed? Why doesn everyone seems to think that just because they're not going top speed that they don't need more power. I constantly have the throttle to the stops coming out of every corner and down straights. I still need more power. I go through a turn with a raptor and he outpowers me. Just because you don't use all the speed doesn't mean you don't need more power. Power has nothing to do with speed.

OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH... hehe, I hear ya now . My bad.

Racerex55 - You are right. I couldn't care less about top speed. I could have the fastest quad by simply changing my gearing. I'm worried about accelaration. You need power to get the wheels turning quicker (not faster) and although it's very hard to use every last bit of power to its full extent on any quad, it's easier to use more power on a Dale than it is a EX.
