Hello all. I did start having this problem a few months ago. When I push the trottle, sometimes the bike seems to be very week and almost die.. but it dont.. and then it's okay and it rev up. It seems to be doing that since I had my Honda dealer install my Jet kit. What could cause that? could it be related to the jet kit installation? could it be dangerous?

Thanks

This definately sounds like a jetting issue to me. Perhaps just a tad rich? At what point on the throttle are you experiencing problems? This could be potentially dangerous to your engine, but if it's only off a bit then you won't really hurt anything. Best to take it back to the dealer or attempt the rejet on your own.

Hmm... strange.. that should be pilot jet territory, and I'm sure your pilot jet is still stock. Definately get it to the dealer because they probably goobered something in your carb up doing a hastey rejet.

I dont know anything about these things.. but I heard that when you push trottle 1/8 to 2/8 this is a pilot jet business, and over that, this is the main jet business. right?

I'm not really sure just where the line is drawn, but if you're right then your needle would be the place to look. Main jet is mostly (although not entirely) 3/4 and up.
