Gear shift on rubicon, does yours function smoothly?

Mine does allow me to select drive, low, reverse but its so resistant to do so. I have to bump the throttle after a gear is selected for it to place itself in gear. Any input on how your gear shift functions would be appreciated.

This is quite normal. Basically the gears in the subtranny are not lined up perfectly. This same thing happens on the Grizzly, Sportsmans, etc. Little bump of gas gets the gears lined up. There is a device they build into cars to fix this in a car tranny.

Yes, this is common in the Rubicon. Don't worry. Make sure your idle is set correctly. This will minimize the problem.
