Whats up with all these 4 strokes?

2 stroke machines are just fine on the trails, not Ideal like a 4 stroke, but plenty good. The reason land owners and the rest of the community get mas at us isnt because 2 strokes are noisy, they are as quite as the 4 strokes. A stock blaster, banshee, and polaris are quite quads. People get mad at us when avter's put on extremely loud pipes (2 and 4 stroke) and go blasting up and down the streets or in thier back yards. No one would hardly notice a stock 300ex or banshee racing around in the woods. But throw on a DG straight through mega phone pipe on that 300ex or warrior and people a mile away can hear ya. We need to be aware of other people (non atvers). Its the noise and irresponcible riding that is going to end it for us. Not so much the pollution. GJ

Check out this web site, http://www.motorcycle.com/mo/mchonda/exp2_tech.html. Maybe Honda will use this technology in a twin cylinder TRX 250R!

Up here in Canada I do not think the Bobardier Company who makes Ski-doos will stop making 2 strokes because of California rules.I do not think a State so far south has many costumers for them to please I did'nt even think they had snow!
