i was wondering what you guys think , i dont know what to go with im gettin a 400 ex and want to know what pipe to put on it.

 

i dunno why not go with a suppertrapp, how bout run sum cam 3 in it?? not. howbout a cobra universal silencer, i hear they give about -20 hp.

I have found out from all of the tests in the mag that the Sparks system is the best but it is very loud. The next best is the just the White Brothers E-serious slip on with the stock head pipe. When using the stock head pipe on the 400 you must take it off and clean out the weld inside the pipe and it will then be the same as most of the after market head pipes. People will tell you that this system is good but be carefull some of the systems will cut the hp.

FMF PowerBomb Header and PowerCore IV silencer and a K&N with Outerwears. Don't vent your airbox to much (three 1" holes with White Bros filters in them), or you will lose your low end.

 

tprender is right, The Sparks system is the best of the best. I was running FMF PC4 and was impressed, but nothing compared to my LRD. (LRD and Sparks are basically exact) Ive riden a 400 with Sparks and my 440 with LRD. If you don't factor in the big bore, they are VERY similar. Hope this helped.

PS Stay away from DG or other cheap brands. Basically stock muffler, with some shinyness.

hey man white bros e series is what i got on mine and i like the power it gave me. but at the same time i put a k&n atv power kit in it. but im going to tell you that you dont need to drill holes in your box cause your not going to need a stage 2 jet kit. I would go with the e series from white brothers so good luck making your choice. dont go with fmf cause they are good for two strokes mainly and supertrapp is a cheap piece of crap.

Cook u wanna go ride rite now??? my bike would round the track all day trouble free, i just had some bugs. and uhh at least i didnt have a 350 2 stroke banshee gettin beat on a big flat track by a ragged out 300ex, u couldnt hang with anybody on it, learn to drive. that banshee shoulda beat that z but it didnt have a decent driver.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] And the only reason henrys 4 wheelers like that is because he didnt cut it any slack or well take care of it either but thats beside the point

Guess ill have to eat that 400 alive when u get it.
