Hey guys,
Havn't been around the fourm for awhile school started and I havn't been able to ride for a couple months. Anyhow got a quick question for you guys maybe you can help me out.
I know there are tons of pipes and exhaust systems out there for a 300EX, and since this is such a big topic, and many people have asked about it before, I searched the archives and found like 4 threads, unforutanetly most of them were about the discs. and I have some other questions.

This guy is going to sell me a FMF Megammax Full exhaust, for $200 even, Im wondering if that is a good price right now... I have searched websites for information, but all I find is about the megamax 2, And then the common asked question, would I get what i paied for? / a increase in power?

Basically, would it do the job for the price?
Feedback would be greatly apreciated, because if a couple of you guys, think its good, ima go for it.

ive been lookin around at the forums and heard alot of people saying the megamax 1 was junky and unreliable. i dont know cause ive never had a pipe on my 300ex, but thats what i heard. I also heard that the megamax ll is alot better and alot more reliable. as soon as i can raise the money, im gonna get a megamax ll full system.its not as good as others, but i heard its good bang for the $225 you pay.tell me what u finnaly decide on an how it does caus im lookin too.

I never had a MegaMax on a 300. I do have it on my utility bikes (along with a K&N), and the increase in power is very noticeable! NOTHING JUNKY OR UNRELIABLE ABOUT THEM. You said "full exhaust". I presume that means with a HEADER? The 300 needs a header more than any other bike there is. With a header, $200 might be an OK price.

sorry guys, i got a little out of hand caus he was sayin all of the stuff I said was untrue and if you recall he was MAKIN FUN OF ME because I said FULL EXHAUST in stead of WITH A HEADER, and he was doggin on my 300ex sayin that "THE 300 NEEDS A HEADER MORE THAN ANY OTHER BIKE THERE IS" I appologize to everyone for gettin mad but he could have been a little more nice than what he said.
