Thanks for the info....i thought the ranch probably would do better simply because of the new front diff. That extra tire getting the traction should out perform the 450. It's nice having this web page to find out info from other riders. Thanks again...this will save me $$$$$$

If you get one front wheel in the air on the Rancher it will free wheel just like the 450 does . Personally I have not found this to be a problem . Just rock the bike a little then the wheel on the ground will grab .
To answer an earlier question , my Rancher is electric shift and my 450 is standard shift . They both have their advantages and disadvantages .
