Default Cycle Country Plow & Honda Rancher

I recently purchased a Cycle Country Plow system for my 2002 Honda Rancher. When I attempted to install the mounting hardware, the mount would not to fit as shown on the directions. I figured I received the wrong mount in the correct box, so I sent it back and received a replacement. It was exactly the same. I have talked to Cycle Country twice, and they have been very helpful. They even located a 2003 Rancher and found that the mount would fit on that year machine. I am perplexed as to why the mount will not fit on mine. Has anyone experienced the same problem?

Thanks!

Proper mount part number is 15-550. I just installed a 60" CC plow on my 2002 Rancher 4x4 ES and it went flawlessly. Make sure you dont tighten the 4 carriage bolts completely when you put the mount together or it wont flex enough to get all the ubolts lined up. The 2 back Ubolts pop through the channels above the frame and the 2 front ubolts go over the frame where it bends in front of the engine. I think the back ubolts are exactly in the middle of the floorboards. I did not have any problems installing the mounts on mine, took me about 15mins to put the mount together and install it. Make sure you have the narrow part of the mount facing the front end of the quad. The pictures on the install sheet are pretty accurate for the ES.
