Honda better come out with a new sport quad or there going to be(allready are) left in the dust on the sport side of the market. and there not doing so good on the utility side either. I really love honda and their quality. I really hopethey dont let all of us loyal customers down. that would be a shame.

Speedracer,
How hard was it fitting that 450 in the frame? What kind of Air Box mods did you need to do. I've been looking at building my own but I've never attemped such a project. I mean hell, you can pick up a Leager frame for a little over 2000 and I read someplace you could get an engine for about 3500. You're going to spend that much on a new quad anyway. Then you go to an ATV salvage and pick up some bits and pieces of a 400ex and you'd have an awesome quad.

Fitting it in wasnt too hard. you would have to have a couple of parts made by a machinist near you. front triangle mounts and bushings for the rear swing arm pivot bolts. i did cut the frame a little were the rear shock mount is and raised that part to let the intake clear.
air box dont have one i run and open air filter. but using the stock one as gaurd from mud and water would be to hard to rig up. its one of those projects you just have to dive into and whatever problems arise find away around them.
